Our eBay Store Policies

Payment Policy

 We expect full payment to be completed in 10 days. If for any reason you are not able to comply with this expectation, please contact us immediately. 

Our preferred method of payment is through PayPal for all buyers, domestic or international.  However, we will accept Money Orders or Cashier's Check only from US and Canadian buyers on the following conditions: 

  • US bid winner must use United States Postal Service (USPS) Postal Money Order, or a United States commercial bank's Cashier's Check that can be verified. 

  • Canadian bid winner must use Canada Post Postal Money Order in U.S. currency only (Canada Post service fee is $4.95 Canadian), no Cashier's Check will be accepted, to pay for the winning bid.

There is a waiting period of five (5) business days for Postal Money Orders and Cashier's Checks after we deposit these methods of payments before we ship the items paid for.

Other international winning bidder can only use PayPal.  If any international bidder has a problem with this payment requirement, please contact us before bidding for any of our auctioned items, or your winning bid will not be recognized. 

We now accept personal check(s) from US domestic buyers only.  However, there is a waiting period of ten (10) business days, or longer, depending on when your personal check(s) clear our bank, before we ship items bought by you.  If your personal check is returned by our bank for whatever reason, we will contact you for payment by USPS Postal Money Order, or Cashier's Check only.  We will also add to the total due us whatever bank charges we incur for your returned check.  If you fail to make good on your returned check(s), we will cancel your winning bid and consider your bid status as non-paying bidder (see next paragraph).  We will also block you from bidding on any of our current and future listings. 

For non-paying bidders:  If we do not receive your full payment after the required 10 days, or do not hear from you, we will enter an Unpaid Item alert with eBay management. If the payment issue can't be resolve reasonably, we will offer the item you won to the next highest bidder, or relist the item without notification to you. With great regrets, we will also leave a Negative Feedback for this transaction as a reflection of our selling relationship with you for all to read and consider.

We think of ourselves as fair and reasonable so if you have a payment problem, please contact us immediately for a quick and fair resolution. 

Shipping Policy

Shipping Charges: For US and Canadian bidders, please see Calculated Shipping Charges below. Insurance is no longer required and is now optional for all buyers, as long as insurance coverage by our insurer (U-Pic Insurance Services) is available for your particular country. If you chose to have your item insured, it will be added to your shipping charges during our alternate Auctiva checkout by pressing the Pay Now button in the email sent to you by eBay after the auction has ended. Please use this alternate Auctiva checkout and invoice to pay for your item by PayPal, Money Order, or Cashier's Check as required by our payment policy based on your country of location. 

For other international buyers, please contact us for the correct postage of your choice before bidding. if you win the auction, please wait for our email and special invoice we will be sending you at end of auction.  Please ignore the end of auction Pay Now button automatically sent by eBay.  It may not have the correct amount of postage for your shipping address. We will identify the correct invoice for the item won accordingly, which will contain the correct shipping charges for your address and the shipping insurance if you so desire and if available for your country of location as provided by our shipping insurer, U-Pic Insurance Services.

Shipping Liability: We highly recommend that you buy shipping insurance for your item(s) being shipped since we will not be held responsible for any abnormal or extended delay, partial or total damages, or total loss, or incorrect delivery of the item you won while it is in transit and under the control of the postal services of the United States, Canada, or other international postal agencies handling the delivery of the item(s) bought.  

Handling and Packaging: We will usually ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment for domestic orders. International orders may take longer since contacting the buyer may be required to get approval of shipping charges and added services.  

We are now adding $1.00 for shipping and packing materials to the shipping cost due to changes in our packing methods.  We are using only biodegradable packing materials which is recyclable and water soluble to help in the preservation of our environment.  Although we are still continuing to recycle shipping boxes, there are times when we have to use bigger and newer boxes in order to properly protect a shipment due to its size, or its fragile nature. So if you win the auction your item will most likely still be shipped in a used box but this time protected with our new biodegradable packing material. Our shipping box my not be pretty to look at but it helps keep your cost down and saves you the cost of a new box to protect your item(s) being shipped. 

Preferred Shipping Carrier: Our preferred shipper is the United States Postal Service (USPS) out of convenience since our business is near a USPS mailing station which also provides free envelopes, boxes, and labels for their Priority Mail services as an added benefit to our business. Since we do not charge packaging and handling fees, we prefer not to go out of our way and incur expense to find a United Parcel Post (UPS), FedEx, or DHL station. However, if you require a different shipping carrier than USPS, then you will have to make a special request to us by email in order to select your carrier of choice to ship your item.

Tracking Shipment:  We provide free tracking services of shipped items only within the United States through the United States Postal Service (USPS) tracking system whenever available for a USPS mail service being used for delivery. 

Terms of Sale For Standard Listing

Our Return & Refund Policy for a Standard Listing:  We accept returns, with money back refund, provided the following conditions are met: 

(1)     Return item within ten (10) days from date of delivery as evidenced by the Delivery Confirmation No. found on the United States Postal Service (USPS) Delivery Confirmation Receipt (PS Form 152), or from the Delivery Confirmation No. shown on the USPS printed shipping label generated by the Print Online Postage Service of the USPS website for all our domestic shipments.  No returns are accepted for international sales. 

(2)     An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required for all returns.  No exceptions.  Please contact us before returning an item.  We will not accept returned packages without an RMA. 

(3)     Condition of returned items must be in original state as shipped with original packaging. 

(4)     In the event that an item has to be returned to us, the shipping charge is the buyer's sole responsibility and any damages, or loss, during transit must be covered by shipping insurance. 

(5)     Only the cost of the item and any applicable California sales tax that was paid will be refunded.  Shipping and insurance charges are not refundable.

Terms of Sale For Special Listing

Our Return & Refund Policy for a Special Listing:  If any item we sell is significantly not as described, or significantly misrepresented in any way, we will refund the cost of the item, plus initial shipping charges, or make any adjustments that are needed, or agreed upon, between buyer and seller to resolve and correct the problem to both parties' satisfaction. So with this in mind, please notify us immediately if you find a problem with the item you received from us. We are requesting that we be given a fair chance to correct the problem before you give us a negative feedback.  

In the event that an item has to be returned to us, due to the inability of buyer and seller to reach a satisfactory agreement, the shipping charge of the item being returned is the buyer's sole responsibility and any damages, or loss, during transit must be covered by shipping insurance. As indicated above, the sale is final, as is, and as found and we will not accept returns based on buyer's remorse, or change of mind, or change of heart, regarding the item bought.

Our Feedback Policy: We do not give feedback on the transaction until the buyer gives us a feedback after receiving the item and making sure that it is in reasonable compliance with our listing description of the item.  If the buyer has a problem with the item, we are requesting that we be given a fair chance to correct the problem before the buyer submits a negative feedback.  The buyer should also check for any transit damages to the item and notify us immediately so we can file an insurance claim for the damaged item if insurance was paid for.
